Jodhpur RIFF is an annual, international roots music festival, timed to coincide with Sharad Purnima, the brightest full moon of the year in north India. Now in its 16th year, the Festival presents a series of spectacular concerts and events based in and around Mehrangarh Fort, under the aegis of the Mehrangarh Museum Trust. A not-for-profit festival, Jodhpur RIFF aspires to positively impact the livelihood of the traditional performers of Rajasthan.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 –  Arrival at Delhi

Arrive at Delhi airport, later transfer to your hotel.
Hotel check time 1200 Hrs. (No other services). Night stay in Delhi.

Day 02 – Delhi – Prayagraj (Allahabad) By flight

Breakfast at the hotel & transfer to airport.
Flight: 6E 2612 1315/1435 Hrs

On arrival meet and assist by our Representative at Airport and transfer to hotel. Later our guide will meet you and plan for two days
(Day 02 & Day 03) sightseeing during Kumbh Fair in Prayagraj. Night stay.

Day 03 – Prayagraj

Breakfast at the hotel, our guide will be with you and he will explain about Kumbh Mela and local sightseeing of Prayagraj. Sometimes vehicle will not allow to go inside the fair, you will need take local rickshow etc which is included in your package.

During the Kumbh Mela, various spiritual leaders, gurus, and scholars deliver discourses and talks on Hindu philosophy, spirituality, and the significance of the Kumbh Mela. These sessions provide opportunities for learning, reflection, and spiritual growth. Night stay.

Day 04– Prayagraj

Breakfast at the hotel, today you are free for your own. Except hotel, no services from side. You can move around the fair at the bank of river Ganga where Sadhus & local people offer various types of rituals to Goddess Ganga. Night stay in Hotel.

Day 05– Prayagraj to Varanasi by surface (approx 03 Hrs)

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Varanasi (The City of temple).
On arrival check in the hotel.

Later in the evening visit Dashaswamegh Ghat (Bank of River Ganga) for evening boat ride with guide & also participate in Ganga Aarti (A Kind prayer to Goddess Ganga) there. Night stay.

Day 06– Varanasi

Early morning start with sunrise boat ride at Ganges river. Allowing you to witness the breathtaking spectacle of sunrise over the Ganges.

Later you will move to hotel, on the way you will visit Kashi Vishwanath temple (Lord Shiva).

Breakfast at the hotel.
Later you will have local sightseeing of Varanasi with guide.
Places to visit: Bharat Mata Mandir + Tulsi Manas Mandir + Banares Hindu University. Later you are free for your own. No services from our side. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Day 07– Depart from Varanasi.

Breakfast at the hotel & free for your own. Hotel checkout time is 1100 Hrs.
Later we will provide to transfer to Airport/train station for your onward destination.

About Pushkar

The Pushkar Fair (Pushkar Camel Fair) or Pushkar Mela, as it is locally known as, is an annual five day camel and livestock fair held in the town of Pushkar between the months of October and November. It is one of the world’s largest cattle fairs.

It has developed into a significant tourist destination in addition to the buying and selling of livestock. The primary draws for this fair that draws thousands of tourists are competitions like the “matka phod,” “longest moustache,” and “bridal competition.” A football exhibition game between the neighbourhood Pushkar Club and a group of foreign tourists has been a part of the festival in recent years.

Pushkar Camel fair Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi Arrival

You will arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport T3/ Delhi Train Station. Check-in at your hotel by own. Night stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi – Ajmer Train

Morning Departure transfer to Delhi Railway Station. Board the Train to Ajmer. On arrival in Ajmer, driver will take you to Pushkar Camp.

Upon arrival check in into your camp which comes with attached private facilities.
Your stay is on a full board basis. Lunch.
Then the rest of the day to explore various facts of Pushkar Fair.
These two days you can wander around Fair Grounds.
Witness various activities. Small roadside shops decorated with local handicrafts etc. (Bangles, Jewellery, Trinkets etc.)

Dinner and overnight stay in your Air conditioned camp.

Day 04: Pushkar – Delhi

Checkout from the hotel and drive to Ajmer station to board your train to Delhi included in package.
