IndiGo has become the first airline to commence operations from the newly inaugurated Noida International Airport (Jewar), marking a major milestone for connectivity in the National Capital Region.

The inaugural arrival from Lucknow touched down this morning, followed shortly by the first departure to Bengaluru. With direct connectivity to over 16 destinations and seamless one-stop connections across multiple tier-2 and tier-3 cities, the launch is set to significantly improve air travel options for passengers across North India.

The new airport will strengthen regional connectivity, reduce travel time for millions in Delhi-NCR and western Uttar Pradesh, and provide easier access between smaller cities and major metropolitan hubs.
